Comics Culture & Badass creators Interview

A queer, Puerto Rican woman, Nicky Rodriguez is a comic artist with a passion for pushing the bounds of storytelling to explore inclusive, diverse narratives and the deconstruction of traditional narrative form. She has an MFA in Comics and BFA in Animation from California College of the Arts. She travels to zine and comic fests across the country and teaches zine production to children in Oakland. She uses visual storytelling to explore Puerto Rican culture and the multi-faceted nature of identity.
